Mission
To convene a collaborative planning process to develop a recommended Locally
Preferred Plan for modification, operation, and maintenance of the Pajaro River
Flood Control Project.
Objective
The Task Force identified that the overarching main objective is a Locally Preferred Plan for the Pajaro River that:- Is fair and equitable
- Is sustainable regarding carrying capacity, economic viability, environmental sensitivity and social responsibility
- Provides broad public education
- Develops a local funding program
- Addresses and potentially develops a governance structure
- Secures an agreement on an interim and post construction maintenance plan
