Implementation of the Growth Management Strategy

• Working with the City of Watsonville to provide guidance as they implement the voter approved Measure U - which calls for orderly growth and phased development.
• Assisting the residents of the Town of Pajaro in North Monterey County and the Green Valley area of South Santa Cruz County with the development of community plans that can accommodate the need for additional housing and job growth while protecting resources. read more...

Pajaro Valley Youth In Action Scholarship

• Encourage younger member of the community to be involved in issues that affect the quality of life in the region with a scholarship award of $500 which in 2004 was donated by the Santa Cruz Community Credit Union.
